TAPSTAK joins Cork Smart Gateway’s Smart projects.

April 24, 2017

The Cork Smart Gateway has recently added TAPSTAK to a diverse range of innovative Smart projects based in Cork. The projects span  a variety of areas including ICT, Energy, Transport, Water, Health, Tourism, Education.

The Gateway was established by Cork City Council, Cork County Council, Nimbus Research Centre and Tyndall National Institute to pursue and facilitate the delivery of the smart agenda that has been put in place for Cork, which will build on the existing assets, attributes and experiences in the region and will help position Cork as a ‘World-Class Smart Region’.

The Smart Gateway provides a forum to allow these organisations to share and collaborate together while also marketing the Cork region as a smart destination internationally. The aim is to enhance the reputation of Cork as an attractive place to live, work, visit and invest.

TAPSTAK has the potential to act as a single push-button interface for every show, event service or device in Cork when integrated with smart projects and systems supported by the Gateway. Providing Cork citizens and visitors with a more integrated user experience across a wide variety of interactions across the city and county.

Working with the Cork Smart Gateway will open exciting opportunities for collaboration between TAPSTAK and the many smart projects, systems and infrastructures being established in the Cork region.
